Brooklyn Brewery Mash - A trip through BK in 3000 photos from Paul Trillo on Vimeo.

To promote the Brooklyn Brewery’s MASH tour, filmmakers Landon Van Soest and Paul Trillo, created a stop motion tour of the borough using over 3000 still photos.

Per request by CMG Worldwide (based in Los Angeles), Milton Glaser’s I♥NY has been removed from the video. In 1977, Milton Glaser designed the logo pro bono. His intention was to spread the love and let everyone use the logo under fair use. The logo was later copyrighted. Milton Glaser is also responsible for designing The Brooklyn Brewery’s logo 25 years ago.

Time is one of, if not the most valuable thing we have. We only have a limited amount of it and will never know when we will run out. A lot of people waste time not knowing how precious it really is.

During 2012 i decided to spend my time to take on a project like nothing i have tried before. Something that i hope will show people how quickly time lapses.

Being new to the world of timelapse it was a slow start teaching myself the art of time lapse and learning how to create the amazing videos i have seen on Vimeo and on the net. Little did i know how much time and effort it really takes to create just 10 seconds of footage.

This project goes out to my late Canon 5D2, he drowned on the front line while shooting the moon next to the ocean, seen at 1:30… I miss you Bruce…

This project has taken me one year to complete, hundreds of hours of shooting and editing…
Over 80,000 photos were taken for this project.

The majority of the footage seen in this video was taken in Sydney, Australia.

“Blood Pumping” is a short film mini series created by Adam Souter as he encounters unique people along his travels around the world. The people in these episodes are very passionate about what they do, therefore this is what gets their “Blood Pumping”.

A montage of my timelapse shots through the summer of 2010.

The dolly moves were done using two custom track and dolly systems that I engineered, utilizing off the shelf components with a bit of custom fabrication. My primary system consists of a set of Mumford rotary tables with a Time Machine for the motion control programming. The secondary system consisted of a lower tech servo city DC motor.

Music is by Hans Zimmer, “Dream is Collapsing” from the Inception soundtrack.

An experimental short film that captures the transmutation of dead Joshua Trees into works of art as a way to explore change and renewal. Created for “Hello, Again,” an initiative by Lincoln Motor Company that asks filmmakers to reimagine the familiar into something fresh and new. Set in the magical high desert of Southern California, “War Paint for Trees” takes a surreal and unexpected journey that is deeply personal and intensely cosmic.

No motion graphics were used in the creation of this film.

The Ice Rink from peter galleghan on Vimeo.

This season I had to make an ice rink, it was challenging and cold. It took just about 8 weeks to build, there was no pond full of water to freeze, just grass. Had to move a lot of snow to make the rink, as you will see. Once the base was frozen I just had to flood the rink with water and let it freeze over night.

This is my first time-laps photography. The music is from Imogen Heap - Canvas (Instrumental Version). Thanks becky!

5:30am and I am wide awake, the daily battle with my mind already in full swing, a constant static drone of noise in my head is stark contrast to the quiet cold room..
Hoodie and a beanie to combat the 10°C outside, I can already feel the cold and not even left my house, I grab my camera and head off.
Driving down towards Maroubra, the sky hints at the impending display of colour, a small seed of excitement begins to grow in my body, a feeling that I can focus on.
Maroubra 5:55am - The sand is cold on my feet, I notice the rough surface of the damp coastline, each step leaving a defined footprint. A cool and steady westerly breeze rushes over the back of my neck sending a shiver down my spine, the surf providing a soundtrack of ambience as the sky begins to bloom a deep red. Mother Nature once again proudly displaying a visual symphony of beauty for those lucky enough to be there.
Focus, the mind quietens, breathe, my senses are occupied, a peaceful feeling, a feeling uninterrupted by ego, devoid of mind, zen.
